Driver's floor touch-up

Miss Agatha perfers experenced rather than older.

That looks great. I used a fiberglass / fabric compound that seals everything up like steel. It's super hard.

Had to put some new metal over some bad spots then the glass / fabric mixture.

Just waiting to get back from the paint shop before everything goes back on.

On vacation now - or else I attach a pic.

Duncan,

That looks like GREAT work man! Good for you! I recently discovered on my Bugeye, that the DPO welded new metal over the old metal in the floors. UGGG! The same thing happened with my B. I wonder how bad it will be when I cut out the patches. I'm sure it won't look pretty.

Thanks guys! I'm putting it up on jackstands now, so I can get started with the headers & Weber conversion! More pix to follow...

And John, it can't look any worse than my Rabbit floors, I don't think!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Take comfort in the fact that the panels are available, relatively inexpensive, and not too much of a bear to install!

Home Depot and West Marine have products.

Very well done. Good work.

Pedal box & assy painted & reassembled... boy, those clutch MC nuts are hard to reach! :p Ah well, it's all back together now... Almost ready to put the fender back on, although I might wait until I've decided on where the Crane Fireball XR700 will sit. There might just be room for it above the wiper motor.
