TR2/3/3A DR3A Wiper Motor 'spare' part!?

Hello,
New to the forum; looks like a great site.

I've been rebuilding my Lucas DR3A (single speed) wiper motor and ended up with a 'spare part'! I've got a 1/4" I.D. toothed washer that I can't recall the source of. I'm not finding it referenced in any of the exploded diagrams or the photos that I shot before / during disassembly.

I'm thinking it may rest under the external armature end float adjustment screw, but I'm not sure.

Anybody know where it came from?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Good point Jerry. I need to take a look back at the wiring harness as I removed it awhile back.
Thanks.

If it's like a TR4A this is a seperate wire that goes from a mounting bolt to the case and is not a part of the main wiring harness. May be different on your application. My wire is only about 8" long with loops at each end.
