There you go again David, telling them yankees all our secrets, what's next we gonna start taking them to the klan meetings, and snipe hunting too

Disclaimer: sense of humor needed for above comment.

Howdy Hap,

I know your a "BIG" boy but you really aught be careful what you say on the Internet! You never know who may be reading this?

Its like my idea of opening up a "Brit Car Sales/Repair" facility. I came up with a Co. name that has a catchy thought: "Karolina Klassix Kars". Can you read between the lines?!?!?!?

Regards, Russ

Ham hocks, chitlins, collard green and black-eyed peas.

About 1972, if I recall, had it once, and I ain't certain the intestinal tract has been the same since.

It was the chitlins most likely. They stink like you know what
when cooked. The ham hocks are cooked with the collard greens.
Down South we cook ham hocks with collards and black eyed peas
every New Years day for financial success in the coming year.
Greens represent paper money and the black eyed peas are for change. Old tradition. Yummy stuff too. Chitlins are pork
intestines. Like chicken livers they are an acquired taste I've yet to acquire.

Re: Woo Pow!

Russ, think about the initials of my company name

My wife one time started a company name Insurance Resolutions Services, think about those initials.

Ok, Russ , I'll take you to the next meeting if you insist

Oh Russ, put a C everywhere you have a K, and that company name is already taken in this area.

Re: Woo Pow!

Drove the Sprite to Alan's shop in G'ville today.
I blew a power steering hose on the Benz and
Alan got me a new replacement.
Yesterday I backed off a flat to lean 'er a bit.
Runs like a sewing machine. Less pop, pop, pop on
deceleration. I got to shock some Latinos in a
big wheel, loud exhaust Honda accord. They were
impressed. Gave me a thumbs up at the next red light.
They had a NOS sticker on the car so guess they didn't hit the juice.
:jester:
On my way back some kids in a Camero had a little trouble keeping up behind me. They darted around to get beside ol Screamin' Mimi at a light. I blipped the throttle a time of two and when the light changed green they smoked the tires taking off. I just putted along. No way was I going to give them the satisfaction. I mean good grief they had a V8.
Stopped to tank 'er up and two customers at the station whipped out the cell phones and took pictures.
All in all a good LBC morning.
:driving:

Re: Woo Pow!

sounds great - why don't you get an NOS sticker too - will make the car faster.

That's gotta be worth another 10 hp...at least.
While I have the stripes my extra chrome off sets any gains.

To butcher an old line from a song....
Nothing could be finer than to be in a Bugeye in Carolina!

Russ, David I were thinking about you last night, when we were eating chicken livers and country ham :jester:

The girls and I were thinking about Hap this evening.
If only I'd had Mary Jane at my table,it would have been
perfect. As it was every guy in the house looked at me with envy. Jeannie Rock Rock owns the beach house we stayed in this spring. Flounder night. Nobody ordered chicken livers but I
thought of you when we ordered...briefly...then my thoughts went back to those fine Southern Belles at my table.
The ladies didn't want their faces shown in connection with
such pig out behavior.
As gentleman I complied.
