Hi Basil,

The formatting of 'Active Topics' page has lots of 'wasted space' which makes it difficult to see everything at a glance.

This is just the first thing I've noticed that is different since I bookmark this page and is the first thing I see when I come to the forum.

The active topics now displays part of the actual post, probably why you see the extra space.
 
Yes. That must be the reason. Just more scrolling which I'm sure I'll get used to.

Was just reading over the list of new features in 7.2. Cool stuff!
 
Like Steve, I'm going to have to play around a bit to get comfortable using it, but it looks good so far.
One feature I really DO like is the ability to switch to the "Full Reply" screen. It saves me the trouble from having to go back and edit to add a smiley, for instance.

That is definitely one of the better features.
 
Basil...nice work as usual...but MAN I was having mega withdrawl pains while BCF Forums were down....THANKS for all the hard work...
 
I also like the image galleries - will they take the place of the other images we aleady go to?


& I also like how the folders I've not yet read are lit up better than the older version!!

No this is not a replacement for the Members Ride Gallery, just another place to display pictures.

Thanks a million. My previous browser/forum compatibility problems - truncated posts, strung out lists, etc- have vanished. Nothing changed on my end but it all works now.

Just a tad - it was wide enough so that it caused the post window to force me to scroll to the right to read all the text in a post (of course I have the side boxes turned on). Its 400 pixels wide now which seems just about the right width.
