The "new posts" yellow icon won't go out if there are new entries in the gallery forum. Users are forced to go into a marque forum, then into the gallery forum to view the new entries before the "light bulb" will go out for the marque forum. I guess it's a "forum in a forum" bug.

I asked Bas about that - you don't have to enter the gallery forum. You can double-click on the light bulb to turn it off, if you want to.
 
Ok, now I can't edit my posts to add photos. I could edit them yesterday. Is there a time limit for editing? How would I go about adding photos now? I can't link by html either.
 
Did anybody else lose alot of the smilies? For example, the laugh smiley is gone...

Yes, and with the new upgrade the time limit got set to a low value. I have since re-set it so you "should" be able to edit new posts you make for up to 3 months after the post is made. (I don't know why they don't have an indefinite setting!)

Ok, got the photos added. But now it wants to use the third photo as the gallery photo instead of the first. Any way to change that?
 
the only smilies that i can't see, are the salute smilies. I'm not sure when those disappeared, but I just noticed it after this last update, because I wanted to use one of them
 
Hmm, I see them all. I'm not sure what the issue might be, but I'll ask the developer of the s/w and see if they have any ideas.

I stopped using the "Rolls_Royce" stylesheet on 7.2 because of some cosmetic problems (every other topic highlighted after you click a forum name, for example). The "always use default" option seems to be better. Maybe the stylesheets are affecting the viewable icons?

(I see the same icons as Nunyas, above)

That would be a reasonable possibility, except that Tony is using Dessert-Sand, which is what I'm using (and its the default), but I'm not having the problem. If anyone who is having this issue could email me a screen shot of what they see when they click on the smilie face icon in teh full editor, I'd appreciate it.

Well, today about half of them are here - but, there are spaces between them....think we had a similar problem last update.

Oh, & the MG Forum light bulb doesn't go out for me either...& regardless of whether or not I read all the posts, when I click "Forums" & go there, it s always on & still says there are unread posts (the little red number)....same on Spridget Forum....all the others I've been to are working correctly

WAIT!!...it also considers new posts up in the new 'Gallery' section...gotta remember to always look up there also!!
 
Tony it sounds like you have some sort of Browser configuration issue.

hmmmmm...I initially thought the same thing but the only thing different with my laptop is the new version...I'm not home so can't check on my tower.

Then again, could just be my stupidity! hehehehe
