TR2/3/3A Decent 1961 TR3A on BAT

Yes, I agree, if the pictures don't lie. Kind of far for me to have a look, though. Anybody dealt with BIT (Bring a Trailer)?

I have not, but I've been looking for a late 80's 911 roadster and with BAT, posters (very often knowledgeable, but not always) are free to comment. They will often have comments pointing out things you might miss.

What is that attached to the tube that goes from the distributor to the rear carb?

Beats me but no extra charge. Is it mounted on the the thermostat housing stud? I do see a few other mickeymouse solutions, e.g. battery ground to rear carb mount. In general, the car still looks pretty good to me. Tom

Wrong front badge. Might have been a change of the apron w/badge due to accident damage.

That's a spark arrester. They are factory on the newer spitfires. Lots of different opinions as to why image.jpg hey are there and if the do anything.

Anybody know what this picture is showing?

The picture of the underside is showing the only rust repair I can find on the car. It looks like a previous owner put in a patch panel. It is solid and works for a driver, but if you want a perfect car, would need to be repaired.

Maybe that pic is what he is referring to?

If you are looking for a TR3 project, I just got a call that one is coming to the UBSCC show in Dixon this Sunday (swap area). It has been stored since 1995 or something like that. I have not seen the car, the owners considers it complete and wants to sell it.

Thanks. That would indicate that the owner is trying to show all but it would be nice to know what panel this is. Tom
