I found these amazing easy to install myself. By hand. I'm 55 years old, and weigh about 150#, so clearly, brute strength isn't a requirement.NapoleonV said:Hello all. I am about to order some Dayton wheels. If anyone knows of a good installer for the wire wheels please share. I'm in Yorba Linda, CA. Thanks.
I did have to enlist a local tire shop to seat a couple of the beads, as my compressor just didn't supply the volume of air required.
I bought two (2) each 18" & 30" tire irons, but I only used the 18" pair, and they did not require any sweating to get the last bit of tire past the rim lip.
I worked from the backside, with the fronts on a couple layers of carpet pads.
Piece of cake, and ZERO DAMAGE to the brand new chrome wheels, or myself.
