Dash Support Cover Kit

Does TRF or Moss carry a TR6 dash support cover kit? I revinyled my crash pads, but I can't do the dash support because there are too many right angles. I looked on their on-line catalogs, but I didn't find one. It seems that I remember seeing one last year for around $40-50, but I can't remember where I saw it. Any ideas?

Thanks

Cain, I believe TRF has a re-covering service for the center support through their upholstery division. I need to do the one for my GT6, and it's very close to the TR6 support, but as yet I haven't found anyplace to do it. I think the vinyl is vacuum formed over the casting.

Thanks for the replies. I also found one on bpnorthwest.com for $88. Has anyone ever used bpnorthwest? They also have the tops for the doors that I need for $22 each. https://www.bpnorthwest.com/.sc/ms/cat/1102344159677959/9/nc/TR250-6--Interior

Yes, the price was higher than I remember. If I have to pay near $100, then I may just take it to a vinyl place and get a quote. It would be the same vinyl place that I bought the vinyl that I used to recover my crash pads so it would match.

Cain, if you're referring to the plastic OVERLAY that glues atop the dash, please keep in mind that these overlays do not look as good as a nicely re-covered dash pad, IMHO.

I fitted one to my GT6 and it looked quite good, but not as good as if I had removed my "crash pad", trimmed it carefully and recovered it with matching vinyl. However, removing the GT6 pad is such a total pain that I opted for the cover.

Just another opinion, I hope it's helpful.

I've bought quite a bit of stuff from BPNW, mostly engine internals, and have always been satisfied with the service from Bob.

Mark,

Actually I'm talking about the dash support bracket that goes between the bottom of the dash and the top of the tranny tunnel. But, thanks for the advice.
