Hi Guys,

Just reassembling the timing chain cover on the engine and have a question regarding the keyed oil slinger on the crank. The slinger has a slight dish on it. I assume the flat part should sit against the crank gear? Does this sound right?

Cheers

Yup. "fit the oil deflector to the crankshaft so that the raised edge faces the timing cover." - paragraph xxi "Reassembling Engine" page B34 TR2/3 workshop manual.

Thanks Randall, I appreciate it. Back to the garage.

Cheers
