You didn't say if you had pos. or neg. ground. The link below has pretty complete instructions. Keoke is correct:
Assuming that you have negative ground, follow the instructions on page 10. A switched power wire, plus 12v, goes to coil + and also the module red wire goes to coil +. The module yellow wire goes to coil -. The black module wire goes to ground.
If you have an old coil with terminals marked SW & CB, SW is coil - & CB is coil +.
If you have positive ground, a special module # 720-0231 should be used. See page 18.
A switched power wire, negative 12v, goes to the black module wire. The red module wire goes to coil + and also to ground. The yellow module wire goes to coil -.
If you have a standard Healey coil it will measure around three ohms & does not need a ballast resistor. If the coil measures around 1.5 ohms, you need to add a 1.5 ohm ballast resistor between the ignition switch & the coil.
