I have been busted. Paul R. while evidently browsing other manufacturer's forums, caught me red handed with an (oh say it ain't so) MGB.
Now in mitigation this MG is actually for my wife to drive and me to build and play with. She likes the rounded curves of the MGB. What can I say, I tried to get her interested in a 68 Spitfire I found, but no go.
So this has of course impacted my getting the TR6 back on the road.
I have been making some progress. I had all the rust cut out and new metal welded in on the rockers and such. I finished the sound proofing I was doing and installed the plastic barrier's. Here's a link to some of this.

I have also painted the inside of all the fenders with epoxy primer and a coat of chip guard paint.
The fenders are all now installed and the new carpet is in, the new hard top is on. I was finishing the Miata seat installation with the new in-head rest speakers when I had to travel. So about all I have left to do it bolt the seats in place, mount the front bumper and install the tail lights.
I also need to paint the undercoat on the fender wells and the lower rockers and install the lower chrome strip.
Then I will work on the wife's MG. Oh yeah did I mention I am going to put up a new shop this summer. Seems the wife got tired of her car sitting out in the cold and has agreed to build the shop. Oh boy, 36 by 24 feet of dedicated work space.
I can't wait. I will have to do a lot of the work to be able to afford it but after 2 houses that's not so scary.
