Compression Testing

Just going to check compression, what is proper method? Throttle open, fuel off, plugs out, coil wire off. Any thing else? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Just that the engine should be warmed up first!

I guess that is why I like this Forum, Stupid me would have done it cold!

Truth is it doesn't make an outrageous difference in my experience, but it will make some difference and does make for a more accurate reading since everything is up to operating temperature and has expanded, etc.!

Make sure the gearbox is in neutral (not that I have ever run over my own foot).
