Clutch to flywheel bolts

I was prepping my project for tomorrow, and noticed that the clutch to flywheel bolts are the same thread and length as the spring pan bolts I just bought. The new bolts are grade 8, and the same length as the original bolts that came off the clutch when I removed the one.

Are these grade 8 bolts good to use for this application? Not sure about which grade should go in this application -- I've got a bunch of these on hand, so I'd like to use them if they'll work properly.

Should be fine.

Thanks, Trevor.

Grade 8s are probably better than what came on it originally.

You've got something like a maximum of 65 lb-ft of torque at--what--about a 4" radius, so the force on the bolts is about 200 lbs, max. If your engine isn't stock and you've increased the engine output even 50%, it's still only 300 lbs. Not terribly severe service.
