Concours Directory says:

9 stud windscreens posts were painted the same color as the car and had a chrome plated side curtain flange (have never seen this and I had a 1960 BE in 1963. It was painted all silver.

The Directory does not discuss the 1959 and 1960 BE posts.

There is no way I will ever mount my side curtains and mess up the trim.

Horse pucky on the chrome plated side curtain flange.. I'm with you Jack.. pos painted silver... heh what is the address(s) of the Concours Directory?

Second thought..Maybe the Big One's flange was chromed? and...Heritage transfered to BE?... You should try anodizing a set of later posts!

Check Healey Club of North America for purchase of a Directory.

However, in my humble opinion the Directory is not always correct for Bugeyes. Close but no cigar.

yea...those first three production years were full of changes and tweeks..after all these years since then, we are still conjucturing whats what..Truth.. It's keeps my juices flowing..how about the rest of you all!

My Directory must be 1/2 inch thick printed one side.
