Is the only way to advertise a car for sale on this site is via a paid ad?

You're NOT sellin' Nigel, are you?!!?

Of course not, and how dare you Sir to suggest as such as.

I am merely going to be giving him up for adoption in order to pay for a divorce lawyer.

Hey it's either that or I become a Gigolo. I don't think there are many requests for a 44 year old one, even a studly one as I, in the market place.

PS: I regret, deeply, giving up Sir. Lancelot, my 67 Austin Mini Moke for adoption (and actually tried to buy him back, but alas it was too late) so I am sure Nigel too will be missed.

Can you do what one of my band mates did in this situation, i.e., sell it to a friend for a doller and other valuable considerations, then buy it back later? His was a $3k banjo, not a car, but the principle is the same.

Hate that you have to go through this. BTDT.

Unfortunately I actually will need the money to retain Counsel.

It's bad (25%) but good (75%). I've been in a bad place for a long time, feel sad more for putting the kids through it.

I miss a lot of my material stuff like my toasty 3 car garage, etc but there's no better country in the world to bounce back than the United States. Of that I'm grateful.

Yah'all have a wonderful weekend, it's great weather in Dallas.

gah.

I'm the second and fourth owner of the Elan over similar circumstance.

I s'pose the good news is: you're young enuff and geographically advantaged.

Don't run away from the Forum just 'cause you're LBC-less, either!! That'll be temporary, methinks.

Hang in there - replacement metal can always be sourced. Kids are smart creatures, if it is for the best they'll figure that out as long as the high road is taken (which can be a huge challenge given how screwed up everything can get). Again, hang in there.

(ps - Doc said you can borrow an Elan if you are really missing having an LBC)

He would have to dig it out and reassemble it from what I hear though...
