I also see P/N 611974 listed for TR4A (not TR4), which clearly shows the OD switch mounted next to the turn signal switch. This is the same piece shown in the factory parts catalogue illustration that I posted above.

Can't get to the shop to verify light switch location and will have to find the dash to verify. 4A has been reduced to it's many parts and they are stored here and there. Car was wrecked, frame bent so I reduced it to usable parts, chucked the remainder.
