Just browsing through the MGs for sale on Ebay and found a 1972 Midget for $350. Seems cheap. Anyone in Florida?

Finally made contact with the seller and still trying to find out exactly where it is in Fla so I can check on shipping. It doesn't run so that could be a problem but I think it was a good deal /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yes I have a 1275, ribcase and disks on my car already. I hope to put this one back on the road.
 
Well I finally spoke to the seller via phone and I plan to drive 10 hours to pick it up tomorrow.

Interesting part is he just bought the car two weeks ago as a package with an MGB-GT and doesnt have anywhere to store the midget. The car has some rust in the driver footwell. If this is the only thing wrong with it then I will be VERY happy.

I'll post some pics of it when I get back.
 
Looking at the photos, it looks pretty rusty to me in all the usual places. However, you can part it out and still make a healthy profit.
 
Did you see Tonys glue in the new footwells link on his site.
 
I think it was a good buy, but the rear fender arch is totally rusted out and the front edge of the bonnet and the front fender above the sill, and the lower a-posts. If the sills are solid and then it may be worth saving the body (my opinion only). However, there are alot of solid cars out there that could be had for less than the costs of the replacement panels. If it were closer to me, I would have bought it for the running gear and such. Whatever you decide to do Ben, keep us posted.
