Sorry for another stupid question.
DPO Pedro had the K-Mart special TR6 carpet
glued directly to the body sheet metal.
A b.itc.. getting some of it out and the
metal cleaned up.
I now have TRF Wilton wool with TRF carpet underlayment
PLUS Moss Motors aluminum clad interior car insulation.
I have also read and re-read Paul's carpet install on his
web site.
Questions: 1. Does the Moss aluminum clad underlayment
take the place of the TRF standard underlayment? Or is it
only used in the footwells and tranny cover?
2. I had to 100% glue the aluminum clad to the
tranny. Is the clad always 100% glued? and then the carpet
glued onto the clad underlayment? Here is my tranny cover
with the aluminum clad installed.
thanks,
D
