Hi what's the trick to attaching the carbs to the manifold I can't get a good hold on the nuts to start on the stud. There is no clearance. Should I put the carbs on manifold then put the whole assembly on.

. Are you even having trouble getting the nuts with lock washers on top started ?
If so, since there isn't a whole lot of room maybe move the carb back away from the manifold a tad then see if you can get the nut started using your finger tips.
If that doesn't help, then I guess the studs aren't in right.

Thanks going to try that tomorrow. It's just a pain, I am using needle nose pliers to try and get them started. What an ordeal. Thanks
