Car porn - any advice on good car movies?

Great line in "Gumball Rally" from the Italian driver that's hired as a ringer to drive the Ferrari. He gets in the Ferrari and reaches up and yanks off the rear view mirror and tosses it over his shoulder and says "First rule of Italian driving. What's behind me, it not important."

Not to be a one issue candidate, but Sean Connery drives a yucky-colored yellow Stag in Diamonds are forever!

I don't think anyone mentioned "Two For The Road" starring an MGTD and costarring Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney--complete with with a real British accent. I recall the that the TD stopped running but I don't recall why. This was a movie with real British car life.

There was also a Chevy Chase movie with an MGTF though "Two For The Road" I recall had at least one fairly long scene with the MGTD.

Someone mentioned "The Green Helmt". That book along with "The Red Car" got me interested in sports car in the early '60s.

Not a movie, but any of the second series, The Avengers" TV shows. You get a vintage Bentley, a Lotus Elan, and Dianna Rigg in leather.

For some of us, not necessarily in that order. Once I saw her in the Elan I just had to have one; 2 actually - sigh, where are they now?

One I liked with a decent plot, The California Kid with a young Martin Sheen
Nice 30s rod

There is another I can not remember the name of (OK, Google knew it right away, Two Lane Black Top- a race between their 55 Checy and a GTO

), it involved to guys driving a street racers (60s style I beleive) and they crash it so they have a barn find of a 50s chevy they race. Was a legit good movie, at least as I rememer from years ago. Gumball Ralley for the cars and cameos.

And there is a Triumph Herald convertable in "Thunderball" - driven by one of the henchmen.

Clearly someone has too much time on their hands.
