Cam gear nut correct torque

I'm working from a Bentley manual and don't find a torque spec for the cam gear nut on my BJ7. I'm guessing not much. 40#?

There is a lock-tab for that fastener, but if you say you can't find the value in the Bentley, then 40 Lbs seems like a reasonable number...

If you really want to be thorough, you can measure the thread diameter & thread pitch, and look up the value for those parameters. Off the top of my head, I can't tell you what value I put on there__I've slept since I did the last one!

I often overthink it. The nut didn't tighten anymore past 20#. I took it to 40#. The camshaft has very little end play, maybe .002.
