Let me Think a Snipe on the Atlantic----------not for me.

He said it cut through the waves better than any other small sailboat he ever had out there. He's got some great stories - losing a hunter 25 out there, and flipping a rented hobie cat and the mast getting stuck on the bottom - had to swim back to shore both times
I've had a Snipe, an Atomic, & a 27' Hunter.....plus several stinkpots: 28' Chris Craft, 30' Broadwater, 33' Trojan & the usual runabouts - wood & fiberglass...think it might be time for a trawler
Trawler'd be nice too. I subscribe to wooden boat magazine. There was one last year in there that you'd love. 45' ex-russian-workboat converted to personal cruiser. Along with the original 200-300 cubic inch single cylinder diesel engine. Imagine that kathump kathump kathump while cruising along easily - ahhhh!
Oh, I haven't been to Lurleen since I was 12 years old - not too sure it's actually that big - I like to explore.
