I know we have kicked around the subject of bushing material before but can we do it again?

Of the various materials (rubber, poly and nylon) what are preferences and recommendations for "moving" and "non-moving" joints, and what for road and race and why?
 
I went with the poly from the usual sources with this clear very sticky grease. Very satisfied with the ride, stiffness and lack of noise (When properly greased fisrt.)
 
Depends on what the part is, what it does and the amount of compliance (if any) is needed.

Apples and oranges. Road cars need low NVH, while race units dont.
 
On supension pieces on race car most people go the more solid route over poly, like nylon, delron or otherwise, kinda rough for the street but exactly what you want on a race car, no mush. On some places aluminum or other metals can work fine like a sway bar mounts, etc..
