I have a 1960 Bugeye equipped with drum brakes that has developed a very annoying right front brake squeal. So far I have installed new drums, springs and brake pads. The brake pads appear to have even ware. I have sanded the paint from the the brake shield pads that the brake pads ride against and have used high temperature copper grease on them several times. Each time the brakes are quite for about 10 stops and then the right front will start to squeal again. Hard braking does not produce a squeal only normal braking. Also there is no pulling when braking. Does anyone have any ideas on the cause or solution for this problem. It is driving me nuts.
