Bugeye Rear Hub Removal

Can't find my hub puller and puzzled about how to apply pressure against the threaded housing if I find it. Any good suggestions on how to remove the hub without a puller (I have the 3 arm type but again nothing to push against?) :wall:

Have always used a screwdriver and just knocked it out.

Install the brake drum backwards, tighten the lug nuts, and then jerk it off or use a BFH and give the drum a few wacks.

I did this recently and the "drums on backward" thing worked like a charm. I laid a large wrench handle between as a spacer, cranked it off, you'll hear a pronounced "pop" or two. Then grab and yank.

I used a special puller once, but last time I did it I did the reversed brake drum trick and it worked just fine.

I took a square piece of 1/2" plate steel and drilled it for the Spridget 4"x4" wheel bolt pattern then drilled a center hole in it to bolt my slide puller to, works great for pulling hubs.
