does the front end of the bugeye bonnet come all the way down to the frame in the front? I ask because I just tried the fit on the 77 midget and one of the headlight seems on the inside seems to be hitting the radiator on the passenger side. When I say radiator, that is not exactly true. Its this soldered on elbo the previous owner used to fit an earlier model radiator to the 1500 engine. I need to take a picture of it. I was planning on leaving that because it was working, but I might have to change it. Does anybody have a picture of an original 1500 radiator?

There are little eyelet plates on top of the frame rail that are for guide pins. so it is with about 1/2" (from memory)

I have heard tell that radiator interference can be a problem fitting the BE bonnet to a later model. Also, I'm not sure the eyelet plates are there on a later model car. If you need a photo, let us know.

Note the frame coming out the front of the car, each has a built up hole in the top close to the end, a tapered pin drops into this hole from the bonnet.
