bugeye front tilt hood fastener -- choices

Those look like the same style as used on Jeep CJs and YJs. Popular period styles include leather straps on each side and you can always install Spitfire latches which look really good. Google ‘Spring loaded hood latch’ and select images and you’ll see a bunch of them.

I found these 8 years ago. They are small and unobtrusive but I'll be darned if I can find them again.

I am doing Spitfire type on both my Sebring and Ashley fronts. I found these pictures that show a nice installed set.

I’ve got a set of the Spitfire bonnet locks and I’m trying to figure out how to mount them inside the footwell so they won’t show. Once my shop is finished I’ll have a place and hopefully the time to work on this project.

I have a set of aero catch can’t comment on them there in the package and will be till maybe oct nov..?
