Bugeye bonnet mounted on later sprite or midget?

Thanks for that info Trevor. I've been wondering about scraping since you all mentioned it.
I figure that if the hinge is horizontally lower than the rear bonnet corners, then they won't scrape.

ALTHOUGH some bonnets have enough "flex" & "wobble" in them that the rear bonnet corners can still scrape a bit.
This is best controlled by ensuring that your bonnet structure is sound, & by either adding "guide" brackets to assist in the proper alignment of the rear bonnet panels to the cowl & the sill panels, or by having a few extra hands available to help guide the bonnet as it is closed.
