I have just installed a Pertronix FlameThrower disdributor in my 67 BJ8. I am not sure how to connect the wiring. I have a white/black wire that goes to the old distibutor, two white/black wires going into one connector going to the negative side of the coil and a solid white wire going to the positive side of the coil. These wires originate from the wiring harness. The petronix distibutor has a red wire to the positve side of the coil and a black wire to the negative side of the coil there is not a receptical on the Petronix for one of the white/black wires. Do I reconnect the existing wires back to the coil and just connect the wires from the Petronix to the coil also? I am very concerned that experimenting with the wiring will burn out the electronics. Does anyone know how to connect these wires?

"Negative" ground or "Positive" ground car?

The answer might be in one of the documents from the e-mail mechanic maillist
I will have to transform the document because it is to big to upload

Part of the text (meant for Positive Ground car);

2. The white with black stripe wire formerly from the Coil to the points as in Photo Two was removed from the Coil Positive Terminal, disconnected from the grommet and wrapped with electricians tape. It is NOT connected anywhere on the car but I did secure it with a cable tie in the event that I need to revert back to a points/condenser setup.

Edit; Not sure what the connections are for a negative Ground conversion

The car was converted to Negative ground. My question is do I connect everything from the wiring harness to the coil and then connect the wires form the Petronix the coil?
