Brass Freeze Plugs

Does anyone have a source for 1-5/16 brass freeze plugs? I can get them in steel from Moss but I would like to use brass if possible. The 1-5/8 size is available, but I can't find the smaller ones. Any ideas?

Any real parts house that has Dorman items will have them or can order them. My local source makes me buy a whole box (6 or 8) if it's not a size that they normally stock.

Marv J, I just checked the Dorman web site and I could only find steel plugs in that size. Have you purchased 1-5/16 brass plugs from them? If so do you have a contact other than the Dorman site?

I went through this a few weeks ago and the FreezePlugFactory is the only source. There is a minimum buy, but the price is still reasonable. I think about $35.

Hangtown Healey, Did you wind up buying some and do you have 5 of each size (1-5/16 and 1-5/8) left over that you would like to sell? I would be interested. Let me know.

I have 4 big ones and 5 little ones left over. Lets see after I fire up the engine this week or next. The big ones are same as Chevy V8 so Dorman might have those in brass.
