Brake lights on all the time

I have LED brake lights; should be considerably less than 4 amps. Anyone using halogen for brakes?
David Nock does. I use brake/tail light bulbs from the hot rod guys that probably draw more than the current of an 1157 bulb. They are about twice as bright as an 1157.
