For some reason the Hard Line that came with the Remote Oil Filter to go on my 1275 does not fit correctly. Anyone got a source for a braided SS Line that is a bolt on. Would look sharp I do believe. Thanks.

You could have one made as suggested by Trevor. The one special part you will need is MiniMania part M0C2 which is the hose to block adapter. I doubt a speed shop will have one threaded 5/8-18 which is what you need to replace the banjo bolt.
EDIT: Another option is to take an old oil pipe that doesn't fit and cut out a section in the middle. Join the two sections with a piece of high pressure oil hose. The hose should allow you to position the ends wherever you need to get the fit right.

Well the Temporary Fix is to cut the Hard Line and Splice in a piece of High Pressure Rubber Tubing.

I just did this using my local hydraulic line shop and it looks really good, but the hydraulic line for that diameter is way too stiff and doesn’t bend well around the dizzy. Regular rubber oil/fuel line clipped on to the original tubing works great if you use the correct clamps...in this case you want to use fuel injection clamps. I even worked up a braided line with AN fittings and the result was as stiff as my first line.

Here's the solution I used. A couple of compression fittings. All Hard Line all the way. Have not checked this under pressure yet but looks like it will work.View attachment 53412
Great question and good suggestions. Right there with you and was looking at Moss Motors and they had no alternatives. Looks like there were two different 1275 hard lines and the canister part is not the same for a spin on.

Well I got a new aluminum inlet for a 1275 or 1098 with downflow radiator. However I bought a new aluminum radiator, will need to see which one fits best. Tim also had a cast part in his stash on Mini Parts. Will use whichever on provides the best angle for the hose. Fix was a compression fitting of the correct diameter for the metal pipe and a compression fitting on the other end that fit the inlet for the adapter. A little bit of bending to fit and voila.
Now there is a spin on adapter as mentioned above. $< $30 on e-Bay that he says fits with the standard line. This fixed the problem. Will find out if it works once we fire up the engine.
