TR2/3/3A Bouncing Tach on TR-3B

Hi,

I took my TR-3B out today in 30 degree temps and the tach started to make noise and bounce.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?

Thanks.

Paul

Might be worth taking the inner cable out and lubricating it. Also check for any tight bends in the cable. I had an Aunt that sat on a tach once, and she made a lot of noise and bounced pretty good; for a big lady.

I'll ditto the stiff grease idea. Gets stiffer in cold weather.
