I think you're right.

I wonder what's printed on the tag. Obscure info. I just found out what was printed on the tag attached to the hood frame...

Randy has not posted the photo of the tag on the engine yet. Take a look at post #12 for the tag on the engine.
 
Hi Bill,
The decal on the oil filter housing is not a decal but an aluminum tag rivited to the housing. It has the Tecalmit part number on it for the filter replacement.
 
I'm not convinced the car in Post 12 is a low mileage car. So much paint has worn off of the engine and accessories I wouldn't be surprised that it came off the tag as well.

My restored 100 has a lot more than 5000 miles on it and it looks a lot better than this car. And it has been a driver for several years without much attention paid to the engine paint.
