blow by oil pressure causes oil to leak out of the dip stick tube.

Any suggestions to stop this? I have had all other leak points repaired, widened the dip stick at the top to tighten it, installed a spring on dipstick to hold it in place. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is your valve cover vent still stock. Is it blocked off? The pressure has to go somewhere.

Have you performed a leak-down test? Best done when the engine is stinking hot, after a good run, not merely warmed up in the driveway.

Valve cover is still stock and when hose to carbs is disconnected, seems to have blow by flowing out hose.

It is the definitive test, when combined with a compression tester, for an assembled engine. Again, engine stinking hot (1/2 hour on the freeway at, ahem, legal speeds, should do it...).

Yes worn or broken rings.

However oil flowing out of the hose to carbs when disconnected, suggests that the metal "T" connector is screwed down too far into the valve cover sucking oil of the baffle inside the cover?
