Folks,
Now that cooler/cold temperatures are on the way I need to see if I can repair the leaking original heater shutoff valve on my BT7.
I know the heater puts out very little heat, but even with the top down, a little heat at my feet seems to help.
The valve only leaks when opened.
It leaked some years ago, and I mated the two brass surfaces together using graphite and rotating the valve back and forth.
Is this the only fix?
I have been told by a Moss dealer that the new ones leak.
Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Ron
