Hey all,
Almost got the replacement wiring harness installed -
thanks Randy and Keoke - but quick question.

On the main trunk on the left side of the firewall area
by the fuse block, I hooked up everything as original
to the fuse block and I have an extra black wire with the
push on type lead - not a bullet connector. Thinking it goes
to the fuse block but did not take one off like it so anyone
have suggestions ?

Thanks,
Mike

Black wires are ground wires -- It can't go to the fuse block.

More than likely, that goes to your overdrive relay. I'm sure your layout is a little different, but here's a photo.

Thanks y'all,
GregW's picture is worth a thousand words as there is an unused post on
the OD relay.
Mike

Greg,
You seem to have a picture for everything. It made me discover Photobucket and start posting my own pictures, for what they're worth.

Sweet, I have been wondering what ever happened to the new Healey. Didn't know Volvo had bought the rights.

Oh, BTW, "No Parking" :jester:

Greg,
Sometimes your contributions are just priceless! "good thing I had a picture..." above. This was one of those times. I am still laughing and you said nothing political or off-color.

Loved it.

Lin

Lin, I agree -- Greg makes me laugh all the time, and he knows stuff too, as well as having pictures for everything.

I like to cruise the dealerships at night when there are no salepeople around. I happen to have a Volvo and like to see what's new.
