BJ8 Grill Installation

I think MOSS sells the double ended bolts for top and bottom. 805-465. That nut in the middle caused some problems for my installation.

FINALLY, after a full day of adjusting and installing the grill a zillion times, I have it where the tabs are behind the shroud and the brow fitting inside the surround. And I can do it easy enough that hopefully I won't scratch paint later. Now I can paint the shroud underneath and hang the fenders. Thanks to everyone for the info.

Apparently, this never ends. OK I stand corrected on an earlier comment of mine, so humble pie is now in my diet. I was going through The AH3000 restoration guide by Anderson and Moment (great book), looking for something else when I came across the following on page 93: "when the Mark II model was introduced in March 1961,....the... grille opening was covered with a chrome oval trim piece that OVERLAPPED a chrome brow piece. The innermost flat surface of the oval trim piece was painted with a band of dull flat silver paint up to the grille slats"
So the point here is that the brow fits UNDER the lip of the large oval trim piece. I'm going to have to redo my BT7. So you were right stevebn2bj7. Why didn't I just listen to my father and take up photography?

It doesn't seem to be the case here, but there are corrections to the Anderson/ Moment book. Found HERE
