I think I found a way to reduce the size of the attachment to meet the BCF size requirements. I do not remember who sent me these instructions, but they are very helpful. I think I also have pictures of the clip that attaches the Bristleflex to the rear panel edge.

That is what I have done with mine too, I might have taken mine a bit further along the inner quarter panels.

Hi Rick,

I also added an additional trim-collored screw about 5" below the one described in John's MacGregor document to assure tight active-side placement retention of the weather strip during consecutive door closes.
