Also, do NOT pour POR-15 out of the can. Use some sort of disposable scooper and ladle it out.
If you get POR-15 in the groove of the can and then put the lid back on, you'll never get it open again. The instructions say to use plastic food wrap as a barrier between the two.
It's good stuff, just treat it like it's radioactive!

ok So here is my plan of attack
Im going to replace the front calipers, rotors, wheel bearings , and the master after i coat the peddle box area with a nice amount of Por 15
i have already replaced both front hoses with braided steel line
have i missed anything?
my wife and i both feel that any money i spend on this will be the most
important money i ever spend on this car
while im at it i might redo the rear brakes as well

Actually I always pour the POR15 out of the can so I don't spoil it with foreign materials. It's really sensitive to that. I spoiled a can early once by stirring it with an old screwdriver. The paint left in the can went bad rather quickly.
To prevent the lid from being permanently sealed shut, put a large piece of plastic wrap on top of the can, then put the lid back and tap it tight. Watch out for splatters when tapping it down! Make sure the piece of plastic wrap is large enough to drape down the sides a little bit.

I never attempted anything like this before I did what I have shown you in the pics and Apple is down the road from me (well about a 40 minute drive). I took my time and the $$ spent was well worth it. I had a team of enthusiasts right here online and they helped me through it if I trouble. In face, I really did not do much stuff myself other pads, plugs & wires & such. I go the GT on April one and by end of may I had rebuilt all the hydraulics, starter generator, carbs, gas tank pulled wire wheels blasted & on & on. I never thought I would do so much but always dreamed of it.
