At last - after 40+ years away from Texas, I've discovered a good BBQ place just 15 miles away.

BT's Smokehouse in Sturbridge, Massachusetts - reminds me so much of the family run BBQ places I grew up with. The size of a walk-in closet, big smoker grills outside, a few tables, paper napkins, plastic food baskets. My kind of place.

Beef, chicken, pork, links, ribs, corn bread, beans, slaws, bread pudding, iced tea, etc.

And something called "andouille"

At last - decent food! I've been skinny way too long ...

I'm a believer. I'm in New Mexico and I enjoy all kinds of seafood at a restaurant called Papadeux's"' best baked stufed shrimp ever. Grilled haddock at, are you ready for this, Cracker Barrell. So, yes I'm a believer. :banana:

Andouille flavored sausages etc are pretty common up here. Note that there's a connection between the Acadians just north of us & those in Louisiana. Google "maine cajun", for example.
