Barbecue!

At last - after 40+ years away from Texas, I've discovered a good BBQ place just 15 miles away.

BT's Smokehouse in Sturbridge, Massachusetts - reminds me so much of the family run BBQ places I grew up with. The size of a walk-in closet, big smoker grills outside, a few tables, paper napkins, plastic food baskets. My kind of place.

Beef, chicken, pork, links, ribs, corn bread, beans, slaws, bread pudding, iced tea, etc.

And something called "andouille" :jester:

At last - decent food! I've been skinny way too long ...

Andouille, huh? In New England? :confuse:

I'm a believer. I'm in New Mexico and I enjoy all kinds of seafood at a restaurant called Papadeux's"' best baked stufed shrimp ever. Grilled haddock at, are you ready for this, Cracker Barrell. So, yes I'm a believer.

Just checking to see if I remember my geography correctly

Note that there's a connection between the Acadians just north of us & those in Louisiana.

How far north you talkin' about? Connection, what connection? :confuse:

Oh, that's right, our's were kicked out by the ones up there!

I think that's called a disconnection, please hang up and dial again. :jester:
