What about the cocoon storage system with heated dry air. Made of resistant plastic that you drive car into, zip up, turn on blower. Keeps car dry and nothing touches it.

Don't go with the WD40! I sprayed that on the leaf springs last year to help lubricate them. The solvent in the WD40 just encouraged the rust. I should have went with the old school metod of coating with old motor oil....for the springs anyway but use others suggestions for the small bits.

wd40 will not "encourage" rust. But it certainly isn't a leaf spring lubricant. WD stood for water displacement originally. It's much more of a solvent than a lubricant.

wd-40 does displace moisture, right to the surface where it rusts.I made this mistake in the past with steel parts and cast iron cylinders. Now
I use cosmoline spray, which is probably similar the John Deere products.

This is not going to help the already built car, but while I am restoring cars, I clean the bolts and nuts and then dump them in motor oil for a day or so then drain and put them on a paper towel.

I like the cocoon idea! some where in the $600 range. I have also been thinking to paint and seal the concrete, but I will have to wait for warmer weather. Thank you all for not saying to sell the Tr3..
