After a 6 week hiatus from work (during the holidays no less) I started a new job 1st of the year at the New Castle County Airport in Delaware remodeling hangers for a jet manufacturer from France. It's the first time I've ever seen the workings of jet aircraft up close and I'll tell you I knew these things were complicated but the time, effort, and materials used to repair and fit out new stripped down jets amazes me.
All the work on these things is done here from upholstery, repair of panels, and the custom painting to customer specs. I'm getting used to the smell of burning jet fuel as the terminal is directly across from my construction trailer.
It's great to be back to work - now funding for the cars can start again!!
