The St. Pete's watering hole thread got me thinking.
I have lived in the US and Canada for 22 years and have seen many so-called attempts at creating "an authentic British pub experience". The problem is that in my travels across both countries I have only ever found one "pub" that I know wouldn't be out of place in the olde country.
So the question is, for those that care, have you come across a pub that would stand the test.
The sad thing is that they seem to be dying out in the olde country.
