TR6 Are TR6 dasboards the same as TR4A?

Gauge openings and layout are pretty much the same. Its the fresh air vents on the ends that are the biggest difference. You could swap out the metal dash frame underneath the wood and make one work either way.

TR4A speedometer is on the right hand side of the steering column, TR6 speedo is on the left.

There are a few differences as to switch size, type, and location. Gauges are the same size but otherwise they can be very different depending on year and equipment.

The centre switch panel is different also. On the 4A, the "cowl" is under the switches, and the bottom of the timber dash is straight at that point. On the TR5/6 the cowl is over the switches and the bottom of the dash is indented to suit. How do I know all this? The timber dash panel on my 4A is a bitsa. 4A air vents with 5/6 centre panel. Long story. All you need to know is that it looks great and was cheap!
