Anyone recognize this car - I think this is a scam

Now that this has come up, I remember seeing a listing like this in a local shopper in Ill/
IN..a TR3 in Indiana...dad died...selling it rather than storing it.

Scumbags....

I realise I'm late on this, my apologies.
I just wanted to point out that just because the car is a different colour from one in another ad. might not mean much. I am sure this type of person is sophisticated enough to digitally change colours, maybe also the background behind the car.
Just a thought.
Simon.

Or, easier yet, just steal another set of photos off an eBay listing or someone's website.

Or, even snap a few new pics on someone's car at the next British car show.

I can't beleive people like this can't be traced and caught easier. I had someone lift a password and user name from a bank account and send $1000 to a "payment service". The bank just refunded my money, and neither they nor the police were interested in investigating it. In the end we all pay for these scams. I hope Mr TR3 spends some jail time.

I can't believe it either. Of interest, I was reading a forum on a model aircraft site and there was a warning posted about a person selling non existent model gear. The purchaser reported it to his local 'Sherrif' and the seller was caught and delt with. I'm not familiar with US legal systems, but I'm sure ther must be some way of having the person charged with fraud?
