Here's a vid of me racing an Abarth 1300 OTS Coupe at Watkins Glen last Fall.
(sorry for the crappy resolution....I've bought a new camera since then).

DANG IT! That gets my blood pumping!!! :hammer: :driving: :driving: :thankyousign:

I need another hobby like I need another hole in my head, but I could live for that! (on the other hand, if I come home with a race car and accoutrements, my wife may put another hole in my head)

I know of a completely rebuilt 1300 Fiat T/C for sale here, Mike! Mebbe a 1600 as well. You want one?!?

Is the T/C a model number? - I'm not visualizing the car

Twin Cam, JP. Mebbe shoulda used "DOHC" instead. Sorry.

Must be the Lotus in ye, Doc.

!! Yeah, they would be nice! My '69 had a 1493cc motor (w/90 +/- HP), so I guess it was a 1500! Lovely little engine/tranny combo!

My pals down in Miami are goin' thru a Fiat Spyder now. Engine compartment all shiny-pretty, short block done, head and timing setup now under way. I just never thought much of driving cams with BELTS in street car app's... but I gotta say the newer ones seem to last a good long time.

...and don't pile on over the Lotus 907 mill. :smirk:

I never had a problem with that belt Doc. ...and I rallyed that car HARD (s'wat eventually kilt it...navigator froze on me and I went straight at a "T"  !)!!
