Antifreeze leak

Drove Emma about 45 minutes last night. Parked her and let her sit a while. Went out and checked, a LOT of antifreeze on the floor, right around the front driver's side wheel.

check the hoses me thinks. If you're sill on Auto-Choke, I'd also check the lines connecting to the carb. Oh yeah, and don't forget to check the hard line that runs under the carb (one of the auto-choke hoses connects to it) to connect to the heater along that side of the engine. I had that hard line break on me while I was trying to fit a heatshield last year. It was so brittle and thin from rust over the years that I was ammazed that it actually took my intervention to break it.

NO.

Dahubby's replacing the water pump. We'll see after that! Hopefully this weekend so we can tear into Binabox!!!

Got the 'new' water pump in Emma today. We'll see if that stops the leaking. Weather was too nasty to get her out and take her for a good run to warm her up, I'll do that tomorrow and look for 'markings.'

Morris' Law of Probability According to Janel--Fix one thing, find something else.

Drained the radiator, antifreeze was tinged brownish, a little murky-looking. Seems I need to flush the block.

Little annoying things are keeping me from the big things like her OD, her SUs, and the Binabox!

I haven't really had a chance to drive her or to check the temp. That comes today when we take her on the Lucas Night Rally. We didn't get to do the rally last year, seems the Prince of Darkness cast a hex on me...Emma's brake & taillights went out! We are going to flush the block and the heater one day next week HOPEFULLY!

I'd like to skip the entire Thanksgiving deal, toss some turkey sammiches at everyone and get the men (and myself...sister, mother, dot and dot-in-law would drop over dead first) out in the garage and work on both cars!
