But I'm going to need some help getting it ready for the VTR meet in PA this summer so I was wondering if we could get a BCF workday organized to get the car restored.

I can hand tools and open beers. And make smart-aleck comments.

I'll scrounge around some more and see if I can come up with the needed sheet metal. After finding an almost A1 running gear, the sheet metal shouldn't be too difficult.

I say; go for the model A body graft! It would come out looking like the Munster coach. HOw about a custom TR3A Pickup! hehehe.
There's gotta be a few goodies there. I need the chrome plates that sandwich between the windshield frame and the uprights, and a glovebox door, and If I could pick up an old Bulb type temp Guage that's been cut apart for ultra cheap..... Huh. mebbe I should be looking for a heap-o-TR3 too

Yikes...and I was having a hard time deciding where to start on this years 58 project.....Mine instantly became a DRIVER!!!.

If I bring that TR3 to the shop my dues would $5k per year....

I'm sure you guys all like restored cars, but I can tell some of you like rough and ready drivers,me too. I have done my share of restos too but I never really liked em when I got done. Sooo, I would like to show ya my 58 clunker I did a few yrs back,I got it to run great, stop fair, and gave it a 20 footer week end resto. One of the most fun cars I ever owned.

well guess what I cant figure out the pix thing again, you'll just have to believe me, it was a cool piece of crap.

I must ask, after it says add file and i do..what next, what tab on the page do i click, after i click done adding file.
Add your file...then click 'done adding files'...then I usually just minimize that box and submit the post...usually works.

But I often get my pix from my photobucket account...

I dont get the option to submit, after I load my file,it says file loaded then offers me no button to submit,..just preview or change or sometin else. No congratulations,...your a winner. Just a blank page, implying I,m a dope. Now that I have given it some thought, your not really missing much.

I sometimes have a hard time getting my pix to post. I put most of my photos on my Photobucket account then simply paste them onto my post....it works everytime.

Congratulations Yankee.
I've got the beer. Would you like me to bring a nice bottle of malt whisky to celebrate with once we have finished? I'll pop my TR in my other pocket and bring it to Valley Forge for the show, too.
Nick
